Multi-platinum selling music icon LeAnn Rimes is ‘sparking a conversation’ with her latest music video for her current charting single, “LovE is LovE is LovE“, which premiered exclusively on Huffington Post this morning. Enjoy this video stream below after the jump.

To create the joyous visual, Rimes reached out to friend and choreographer Benji Schwimmer (So You Think You Can Dance champion) and gave him creative freedom to interpret and communicate the message of acceptance through dance.  He brought together dancers and a production team with various religious beliefs, sexual orientation and race and created an organic display of unity in support of PRIDE; a support for all people to dance in LovE.

The video features the talents of 6 heterosexuals; 2 gay men; 2 bisexuals; 1 trans-fluid; 1 poly-sexual; 3 former Mormons; 2 Christians; 2 Buddhists; and 3 Atheists united by the powerful message of Rimes’ song.

Written by Rimes and longtime producer and fellow songwriter Darrell Brown, along with Toby Gad (John Legend, Madonna) and Lindy Robbins (Demi Lovato, Jason Derulo) with the intention to bring healing and acceptance through love. The anthem speaks out on acceptance, and hopes to be an encouragement to all to stand in love. Earlier this week, the two-time Grammy ® Award winner expanded on this via her blog Soul of EverLe:

“I have been posing the question to myself and to others, ‘How far does your LovE extend?’ Extending LovE to those who have hurt us is what we are called to do…It’s an everyday practice of showing up for LovE and living in LovE…

I have learned, if the actions of another do not come from a place of LovE, it’s a calling out for LovE. Viewing the actions of others from that space really opens up the gates of leniency and seeing the lessons of what we personally internalize and absorb. In choosing LovE, we choose to see past the actions and limitations of our humanness and recognize our oneness as spirit. This world needs LovErs. It’s time to get out of our heads and into our hearts. It’s time to show up for LovE.”

Choreographed and directed Schwimmer, the movement resists amplifying the sexuality of the performances, and instead embraced the natural flow and progression of the song.

He shares, “The expressions and movements of the dancers were just too honest to contrive. The song and LeAnn’s performance embodies the universal, undying, non-segregated power of love. I hope what we did here was an organic and authentic expression of sharing love that will help people re-think their views when faced with something that we have all felt at one time or another.”

“LovE is LovE is LovE” is currently in the top 25 on Billboard’s Dance Chart and continues to climb higher each week. Various dance mixes produced by Grammy-award winning producer Dave Audé will release on digital platforms on Friday, June 16.

Rimes has been vocal about her stance on equality since the young age of 11. She was recently honored with the Ally of Equality Award by the Human Rights Campaign for her 20 years of activism. The powerhouse vocalist will be headlining multiple PRIDE events throughout the month including performances in New York, Houston and Denver, where she will be performing “LovE is LovE is LovE”, along with other fan favorites.

Rimes is an internationally multi-platinum selling acclaimed singer and ASCAP award-winning songwriter. She recently inked a worldwide deal with RCA UK who released her 16th studio album, Remnants, earlier this year. In the U.S., her first HOT AC single “Long Live Love” peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Dance chart and held the #1 spot for multiple weeks.

Globally, she has sold more than 44 million units, released over 40 charted sings, won two Grammy® Awards; 12 Billboard Music Awards; two World Music Awards; three Academy of Country Music Awards; one Country Music Association Award and one Dove Award. Most recently the powerhouse vocalist was honored with the Ally of Equality Award by the Human Rights Campaign for her 20 years of support of equal rights. This follows her 2009 honor when she was the recipient of the ACM Humanitarian Award. At 14, Rimes won “Best New Artist” making her the youngest recipient of a Grammy® Award. Out of the 42 singles she has released throughout her expansive career, LeAnn’s song “How Do I Live,” continues to rank #4 on Billboard’s “Greatest of All Time: Hot 100 Songs,” and it holds the record for being the second longest charting song ever on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. 15 of her multi-genre singles are top-10 hits, including “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” which went #1 in 11 countries.
