Up & Down took over the Nautilus Cabana Club Beach Tent from Tuesday, November 29th, 2016- Saturday December 3rd, 2016 for an unforgettable Art Basel. The beach tent presented by Absolut Elyx, Perrier-Jouët and Bertaud Belieu Rose and hosted by Butter Group partner Ronnie Madra featured DJ sets by Theophilus London, David Katz, Jillionaire, Henri and more. Highlights included an 1800 Tequila x Billboard party with a performance by Rae Sremmurd as well as Socialista Pop Up event, NU MUSES afterparty hosted by David Bellemere and Steven Shawand the Unemployed Magazine afterparty. Crowds of New York, Los Angeles and other global artists, models, Djs, and notables came out to celebrate Basel including Russell Simmons, Nelly Furtado, Venus Williams, Rose Mcgowan, Ashley Benson, Alexandra Richards, Caroline Vreeland, Sarah Snyder, Shayne Oliver, Mr. Brainwash, Lucien Smith, The Misshapes, Bradley Theodore, Shaun Ross, Aline Weber, Gia Mattise, Joy Corrigan, Chloe Wise, Ruby Aldridge and more.

1 OAK also hosted their pop up at Rockwell from Thursday December 1st 2016- Saturday December 3rd, 2016. The weekend soiree was hosted by Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol. Performers included Nas- who surprised the crowd by bringing out special guest Diddy for an unforgettable performance. Nas had all partygoers on their feet as he performed hits including “It Ain’t Hard to Tell”, “Hate me Now”, “One Mic”, “If I Ruled the World”, “Made You Look” and “Oochie Wally”. Rick Ross and Gucci Mane performed to packed crowds playing hit after hit. Notable guests included Kendall Jenner, Venus Williams, Flo Rida, Skrillex, Diddy, Migos, Tyson Beckford, Daryl McDaniels of RUN DMC, Maxwell Osbourne, Mannie Fresh and more.
