The Studio Interview With G Herbo | Mass Appeal

Fri Aug 24 , 2018
"I was nervous as f*ck," G Herbo remembers of his first ever studio session on 79th Street in Chicago with his friend Lil Bibby. "I used to record on the phone so I didn't really know how." But once he got into it it felt good. "I was a super perfectionist," he recalls. "If I mess up one word, even if it's the very last word at the end of 60 bars I gotta go all the way back." Herbo recently stopped by Mass Appeal Studio to chop it up with Rob Kenner about 'Swervo,' his latest project with Southside of 808 Mafia as well as his viral "Who Run It" freestyle. "That was a real wave," he says. "It was the most remixed song of 2018. That was God telling me, that little freestyle that you didn't want to do was the turning point of your career." Check out the new Studio Interview right now.
