The Alamo Drafthouse will open its first Staten Island location at the planned redevelopment site of a Hylan Boulevard shopping plaza.
The Austin-based chain — which serves food, beer and liquor while you watch a movie — leased one of the anchor spaces at The Boulevard shopping plaza, which seeks to transform Hylan Plaza into a multi-level retail hub, according to developers Kimco Realty.
This will be the Alamo’s second location in the city after its Downtown Brooklyn spot opened last year.
Aside from Alamo, the grocery store ShopRite will also take space at the $170 million project on Ebbitts Street and Hylan Boulevard, the Staten Island Advance first reported.
