Following the announcement of his forthcoming EP Peanut Butter Prince, due out June 15, the Canadian-born, Minnesota-based rapper-producer Allan Kingdom drops his second single of the project entitled “Globe,” accompanied by the official music video for the track. Directed by Kingdom himself and debuted exclusively via The FADER. Enjoy this video stream below after the jump and please share this with friends.
Kingdom has continued to drop a series of self-produced, original mini-music videos and songs since the start of the year, and now the young creative is teaming up with Grammy-winning producer Anthony Kilhoffer – known for his work with Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Jay-Z, Rick Ross and T.I. Kilhoffer serves as executive producer of the six-track-project, helping to bring Kingdom’s unique message and vision to life.
The project also serves as the debut label release for Kilhoffer’s 1st Gen, which will shine a light on today’s rising music talent, in partnership with Kingdom’s Yebo Inc. Peanut Butter Prince will also be distributed via Stem.
After building a dedicated online following through a series of recordings from his St. Paul bedroom, Allan Kingdom served as a member of rap supergroup Thestand4rd, along with Spooky Black, Bobby Raps and Psymun. Kingdom was featured on Kanye West’s 2015 single “All Day,” for which he earned his first Grammy-nomination, and has since self-released a handful of well-received solo projects. In April 2017, Kingdom dropped his most recent project, Lines, which includes guest appearances from Kevin Abstract, Denzel Curry, Cadenza, Ram Riddlz and more. Earlier this year, Kingdom teamed up with Sango & Chris McClenney for their “Moyo Wako,” in addition to announcing his anticipated forthcoming studio project, Peanut Butter Prince.
