Queens bred hip hop artist BAY SWAG provided fans with an introspective peek into his trials and tribulations through his first officially released single, “Saucin.” The 18-year-old brings that depiction to life with the official video featuring recorded conversations with Bay’s father, Lloyd McKenzie “Big Bay” who is currently serving an 85-year sentence. Enjoy this video stream below after the jump and please share this with friends.
The Queens, NY native detailed the inspiration behind his visual to Billboard. “Growing up in Queens, New York was rough for me. Imagine your dad getting sentenced to 85 years to life in prison as a 16-year-old, and now your family is in the hood struggling to pay the bills,” he explains. “There was no way, so I had to start rapping. When I recorded this song, I was going through a lot, so I wanted the world to see and hear my story.”
