NEW YORK PROTESTORS WEAR SHIRT DURING FOLEY SQUARE RALLY & MARCH

Speaking out against injustice and supporting nationwide protests regarding current immigration policies, BELLY unveiled his limited edition “IMMIGRANT” t-shirt.

Currently available for purchase on his official webstore HERE. Belly will be donating 100% of the profits (a minimum of a $7 per tee), of the special edition “IMMIGRANT” shirt to benefit the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in its pursuit to protect the civil rights and liberties of immigrants through litigation, lobbying and advocacy, and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) who supports vulnerable children and refugee families around the world.

Belly was born and raised in the Middle East and an immigrant to both Canada & the US. Inspired by the hundreds of Families Belong Together protests which occurred on Saturday June 30 across the nation, BELLY took to action, creating this simple statement t-shirt. He shared his sentiments with fans in this video below.

Additionally, BELLY’s team handed out over 200 shirts to the New York protestors during the End Family Separation Rally & March at Foley Square.

BELLY is a GRAMMY® Award-winning rapper and songwriter with several RIAA Platinum-certified records under his belt, including his single “Might Not” [feat. The Weeknd].  As a rapper, Belly has collaborated with artists like The Weeknd, G-Eazy, Travis Scott, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Ty Dolla $ign, Kehlani, Young Thug, Nipsey Hussle, Juicy J and more. His influence extends beyond his own discography though. Belly co-authored Beyonce’s “6 Inch” featuring The Weeknd, which is taken from the acclaimed visual album Lemonade. He also co-wrote six tracks from the chart-dominating triple-platinum 2015 epic, Beauty Behind The Madness, including “Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)”, receiving an Academy® Award nod for “Best Original Song” and notching the GRAMMY® Award for “Best R&B Performance.” Additionally, he co-wrote on The Weeknd’s GRAMMY® Award-winning Starboy & most recent body of work My Dear Melancholy, Belly is currently working on a new album and is embarking on an international festival tour, kicking off at Fraudenfeld Festival in Germany and stopping at world-renowned Wireless and Reading & Leeds in the UK.
