Bill Clinton brings laughter and tears with Aretha Franklin anecdotes

Aretha Franklin’s body was carried down her last-ever red carpet in her gold plated coffin on Friday morning as crowds gathered for the Queen of Soul’s final farewell. The body of Franklin, who died aged 76 from pancreatic cancer, has been transported to the service in a 1940s vintage hearse, which carried both Rosa Parks and her father. Friday’s service is expected to last up to five hours, with Stevie Wonder, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Faith Hill, Shirley Caesar and Chaka Khan expected to be among the performers, while Former president Bill Clinton, Rev Jesse Jackson and Smokey Robinson will all speak.
