Hollywood starlet Blac Chyna aka Angela White (and soon to be Angela Kardashian) is set up to impact the Tech world in a significant way! Currently the owner of an exclusive cosmetic line “Lashed” and Beauty Bar, in Encino, CA, the pop culture and social media maven will officially announce the launch of her new“CHYMOJI” collection, created by emerging tech brand Glamroks. The 700+ custom emojis which we’ve seen a glimpse of when Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna announced their pregnancy, allows for users to experience Blac Chyna’s beloved personality, humor, lifestyle, likes and loves, along with her interest in popular culture, political trends and more.
The social media darling, entrepreneur and Kardashian heiress will celebrate her “CHYMOJI” launch with a bevy of celebrity friends at an exclusive red carpet soiree on Tuesday, May 10th at 9:30 p.m. inside the Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, located at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard.
“I’m extremely proud of how thorough Glamroks was in developing my characters. Dez and her staff were super fun to work with,” says Blac Chyna. “My ChyMoji app is an expression of my personality and diversity of life.”
“We’re extremely excited as this is Glamroks first emoji app, so we’re over the moon! It took a total of four weeks to create from start to finish. Blac Chyna was very much involved with the creation process; she selected everything from hairstyles, colors, facial expressions, and would send us pictures of certain things she wanted to incorporate,” notesGlamroks Founder/CEO Dez White. “My favorite icons are those of her with a lollipop and blue hair and her twerking upside down. I was very impressed with our Art Director Shaun Harrison and the Gifs our team created, especially one of Chyna twerking on Rob Kardashian.”
“It’s been a work of passion to get [this collection] off the ground. We studied Blac Chyna inside and out and were able to incorporate her personality and humor into the emojis while also tying in her brand,” says Shaun Harrison, Art Director at Glamroks. “My personal favorite emoji is the one of her throwing money with Harriet Tubman on them in the air!”
Glamroks is an emerging tech brand that partners with great influencers for some exciting projects. The company is all about getting their art across in quick and relevant expressions. McDowell says the company has just signed five other major influencers and plans to release a new app every month for the next five months.
