NY Boy, 13, suffers horrific burns

A handicapped 13-year-old has been hospitalized with second and third degree burns after being lit on fire by a bully.
Deandre Bloomfield, who walks with a heavy limp and was previously bullied at school, was invited over to another boy’s house on Staten Island, New York, before the classmate sprayed cologne towards him and set the liquid alight with a match.
The other 13-year-old was charged with assault, though Bloomfield’s mother says that two of the boy’s family members need to go to jail for trying to cover up the attack.
Ursula Allen said that her son has burns on his face, neck and chest that were not treated for hours because the suspect’s mother and sister did not call 911.
‘Deandre’s scarred for the rest of his life, and it’s not even the physical damage, it’s the mental damage because every night Deandre’s crying like one, two o’clock with nightmares,’ she told Fox 5.
