Today, BPos, released their new LP entitled BPos Is Y.
The San Francisco superhero crews’ 7th full-length album is produced entirely by Tahaj the First with cuts by DJ Noah iMean aka The Nati Kid of Animal Crackers. Enjoy this audio stream below after the jump and please share this with friends.
BPos Is Y is a throwback to San Francisco in the pre dot com era, before an afternoon with friends included farm-to-table wifi and a $22 sandwich. The album plays like a soundtrack to the most epic day in the bay, a day that starts with breakfast at Its Tops, continues with a kick push to Pier 7 and ends at Storyville.
Goodword (1/2 of BPos) says of the album:
“You can’t make music like this if you’re not from where we’re from. You can try, but it’s gonna sound fake. This is how we sound cause this is how we were raised. It’s Frisco. It’s the bay. It may have changed. But we’re still the same.”
