Nashville rapper Chancellor Warhol drops “Prom Tux,” the newest single from his forthcoming EP, Until The Light Takes Me. The single displays the grittier side to Chancellor Warhol’s slick fashion-raps as he flexes hard over dark and booming production from ESCPE. Chancellor Warhol is quickly proving that “he’s now on his way to becoming one of the hottest rappers in Nashville” (HotNewHipHop) and “Prom Tux” highlights his versatility, following the recent release of the smooth and more electronically influenced single, “Mirrors.” Enjoy this audio stream below after the jump.
The release of “Prom Tux” comes only two weeks after “Mirrors,” the first single from Chancellor Warhol’s upcoming project. Since it’s release on October 13th, “Mirrors” has quickly racked up streaming numbers from being included on playlists such as Spotify’s Weekly Buzz and being featured by prominent urban press including DJ Booth, The Hype Magazine and Elevator Mag. “Mirrors” was produced by Super Duper and features refreshing vocals from fellow Nashville artist, CAPPA.
Aside from putting Nashville hip-hop back on the map, Chancellor Warhol is known throughout the fashion industry as a stylist and accomplished videographer. Having produced content for Earmilk)and consulted for fashion boutiques throughout his city, he has gained the perspective to bring these two worlds together. Chancellor Warhol is creating a high-fashion soundtrack that feels truly authentic “and with a name like that, you can bet that the music will be works of art.” (
