“On Sunday, Earl Thomas’ season (and likely his Seahawks career) came to an end when he suffered a fractured left leg against the Arizona Cardinals.

Thomas had spent the offseason in a contentious contract dispute with the Seahawks but ultimately reported to the team for the season. He knew that any injury could potentially cost him millions, so when that worst-case injury happened, a frustrated Thomas flipped off the Seahawks sideline as he was carted off the field.”
