In the wake of achieving 3x platinum status, D.R.A.M.‘s “Broccoli” single is now available on vinyl, just in time for Record Store Day!
EMPIRE is proud to participate in the Black Friday Record Store Day festivities, releasing D.R.A.M.’s “Broccoli” on vinyl in the form of a custom die-cut picture disc in the shape of his infamous Broccoli character. On the b-side it also includes “Cha Cha“, the single that introduced D.R.A.M. to the world. The vinyl is limited to 2,000 pieces and is available this Friday, 11/25/16 exclusively at participating Record Store Day Stores.
Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1,400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. Today there are Record Store Day participating stores on every continent except Antarctica. In order to incentivize foot-traffic in record stores around the world, Record Store Day curates exclusive physical releases for their bi-annual events.
“Broccoli” lives off D.R.A.M.’s recently released album debut “Big Baby D.R.A.M.” which is available now on all digital outlets
