From working in studio sessions with Rick Ross and LL Cool J, to planning events for Fabolous and Elle Varner, Dabriel Fulton is no stranger to talent—which is why as the Founder of NYC talent showcase The Mic is Open, she brings the very best underground poets, singers, rappers, and comedians to the main stage.
The Mic Is Open has also toured Atlanta, Baltimore and Los Angeles.
A lot of people do not have an outlet to share their talents or just need that one push to get out there on stage for the first time. I believe it’s my calling to help as many people as I can. says Dabriel.
Whether you caught Dabriel with French Montana on an episode of Elle Magazine’s “Rap Therapy” or saw her running an event for a celebrity or superstar author in the Upper West Side, the Baltimore native knows how to hustle, something she hopes to instill in the artists she showcases. You can also catch Dabriel for speaking events hosted by WeWork.
