‘Hustle in Brooklyn’ is the hottest and newest show on BET and it features some of today’s young, talented and black entrepreneurs trying to pursue their dreams in the entertainment industry. We caught with two of the show’s cast members Darnell King and Santos to discuss how they got started in the game, meeting each other back in the day at Def Jam Records when street teams were a thing, Santos is a fashion designer, who also has a strong background in marketing, while Darnell aka D. King is a Hip-Hop recording artist, whose also dabbled behind the scenes as a recording and mixing engineer with his very own recording studio (Brick House in Queens). Darnell also just released his new single, “Rozay” (ode to Rick Ross) and his new EP, ‘Kings County’ will be out soon.
‘Hustle in Brooklyn’ airs every Tuesdays at 10pm (EST) on BET.
