The 22 Year-Old New York Rap Artist Releases Emotionally-Charged Track From Forthcoming Album, Premiered by EARMILK
In his latest single “The Best Fears of Our Lives,” rap artist Dylan Owen lays down his emotionally-charged rhymes over delicate drums and guitar to create a wavy yet pronounced sound unlike any other. The single, off his forthcoming There’s More To Life EP, premiered via EARMILK, who said “the young artist’s emotion-laden talent bursts through it all, proving that this artist has a lot on his mind.”
Honest and introspective, Dylan Owen raps about the realities that come with growing up. “The so-called best years of our lives, the time during our late teen years and early twenties, isn’t a reality for many people,” he says. “I talk through the various realities that are striking me currently and during these foundational years: a childhood friend passing away, old flames that never went anywhere, friends who left me to move to Los Angeles, and my grandfather being sick.” Enjoy this audio stream below after the jump.
