With a discography triple the size of most artists in the rap game, E-40 is a bonafide rap legend. A sequel of sorts to his smash hit “Choices (Yup),” 40 Water runs through a list of boasts and proclamations on “Uh Huh.” The video for “Uh Huh” finds E-40 touring both sides of the Bay Bridge with his accomplice YV, walking along freeways, lounging in liquor stores, and posing with fans. Enjoy this video stream below after the jump.
“Uh Huh” is the latest visual from E-40’s latest opus, the 44-track double album The D-Boy Diary Books 1 & 2, released in November, following the Ricco Barrino-featured “Somebody,”
With features from Gucci Mane, Lil B, G-Eazy, Nef The Pharaoh, Droop-E, Jay Rock, Kid Ink, B-Legit, Mistah F.A.B., Mozzy, K Camp, Ezale, Jay 305, Kent Jones, Eric Bellinger, Casey Veggies, AD, Husalah, Turf Talk, Ricco Barrino, Joe Moses, and more, the momentous D-Boy Diary is a testament to E-40’s deep Rolodex and his mastery of the rap landscape, both marquee and underground. In addition to killing the rap game, E-40 is a respected entrepreneur in the adult beverage industry, highlighted by his Earl Stevens Selections brand of wine, his eponymous line of 40 oz. beers, and especially, Sluricane, a premium pre-mixed cocktail that routinely ranks among Bev Mo‘s highest selling beverages. The D-Boy Diary Books 1 & 2 is currently available to stream and purchase on the DSP of your choice.
