Getmybuzzup: Tell us a little about yourself?

Eddie Vegas: I am a Grime Mc from The Uk, I also Produce all my own beats in House.

Getmybuzzup: How did you get started in the first place?

Eddie: I was the first Grime mc to come from a small town called Blackpool, nowadays we have loads of little kids making this town look back with their monotone voices and low budget music videos.

Getmybuzzup: How long have you been in the music industry?

Eddie: 1-5 years I have been producing for, I used to just write and rap but these days I am more into the production side of things.

Getmybuzzup: How would you describe your sound?

Eddie: Trap/Grime/Urban

Getmybuzzup: What is the concept behind your latest EP project “The Last of the Real“?

Eddie: Its just a sample EP leading up to my album, I took the 3 worst songs of my album and made them into a EP. Hence the name ‘Last of the Real’, meaning the last songs of the real thing.

Getmybuzzup: Any plans on touring to promote your latest EP project?

Eddie: I don’t do shows, I just make music, I have enough money to not need to go go tours etc. I have produced for some of the biggest artists in the UK, my bank balance is nice man!

Getmybuzzup: What’s different about this creative process from previous projects?

Eddie: I put out a EP 7 years ago called “Realtalk”, I was 16 at the time and still in school, recorded the whole thing in my mates bedroom. Back then I did it for fun, but now I’m producing, I’m starting to feel the passion for making music.

Getmybuzzup: Do you think your music is mostly enjoyed more for the beats or for the lyrical flow and content?

Eddie: Well I produce my own beats and record my own vocals so either way it’s a win win because everything I do I do it on my own!

Getmybuzzup: What area do you need to improve on in regards to your career? (Example: Better production, Delivery, Stage presence, etc..)

Eddie: Nothing TBH! I have enough money to buy houses so music is only a hobby to me right now, just getting the buzz back!

Getmybuzzup: Who are your inspirations in the music industry?

Eddie: Mainly producers; MC’s don’t inspire me and most of them are fake anyway!

Getmybuzzup: What’s your all-time favorite song?

Eddie: Kurt Cobain – “Something in the Way”.

Getmybuzzup: In your opinion who is the most influential and successful artist in your genre today and why?

Eddie: Uk Grime – Stormzy

UK Rap – Giggs

UK Music – Ed Sheeran

Getmybuzzup: Who have been some of your favorite artists that you’ve been able to work with?

Eddie: I’ve worked with a few well known artists like dot rotten he produced one of the first songs I ever made, I’ve also worked with a house DJ called Rakta he was big around 2015, Rednek is a dubstep DJ me and him have a single together oh and I done a few songs with Mt Eden their on the album.

Getmybuzzup: What did you buy with your first check off music?

Eddie: I’ve made close to a million pounds of music so far, I own 11 pairs of Balenciaga’s about 15 Stone Island jackets, a few whips and a broke down Rolex worth £56,000, music has treated me very well.

Getmybuzzup: What is the best piece of advice in this business you actually followed?

Eddie: Don’t get caught up in the hype.

Getmybuzzup: How do you feel about the current state of music?
