Speaking on the Senate floor, Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein criticized the FBI investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Democratic Senate leaders said after reviewing the agency’s background report earlier this week that the investigation has been limited in scope, leaving out certain key witnesses.
Feinstein also blasted Kavanaugh’s temperament during last week’s hearing over Ford’s allegation against him, saying “we saw a man filled with anger and aggression.”
“This behavior revealed a hostility and belligerence that is unbecoming of someone seeking to be elevated to the United States Supreme Court,” Feinstein said.
