G Herbo announced his new project Still Swervin (Machine Entertainment Group/The Orchard) today by sharing the project’s cover and release date with fans on Instagram. Still Swervin, slated for release on Friday (2.1), is the extension of G Herbo’s recently released and critically acclaimed studio album, Swervo. Similar to Swervo, the majority of the project’s production is handled by 808 Mafia boss, Southside, alongside production from Wheezy, DJ Victorious, and OzOnTheTrack. Features include collaborator and friend JuiceWRLD, as well as Gunna and 150 Dream Team artists, Pretty Savage and Lil 40.
The reveal of Still Swervin comes behind the release of the official music video for “Up It,” the projects lead single, withWORLDSTARHIPOP last week below. “Up It” is available for streaming/purchase now.
In July 2018, G Herbo released Swervo, his sophomore effort with producer Southside (808 Mafia, Gucci Mane, Future, Wale, Waka Flocka Flame, Jay-Z), through Machine Entertainment Group/The Orchard, alongside a label-services partnership with Epic Records. Swervo made its Billboard Top 200 debut landing at #15 on the chart. It also peaked at #7 on both the Indie and R&B / Hip Hop chart and #14 on the Digital Chart. The project’s titular single peaked at #19 on the Urban Radio chart. The project, which features Young Thug, 21 Savage, Chief Keef and Juice WRLD was released to widespread critical acclaim. Rolling Stone said “Unlike some of his contemporaries, G Herbo still raps as if his life depended on it.”
