Buzzing South Florida artist Honcho Da Savage releases his debut mixtape, Parallel Universe, today. Enjoy this audio stream below after the jump.

Among seven new songs, the project boasts the fan favorite “Check” and the recently released single“BlockBusta. Of the track, Complex wrote, Honcho has delivered acoustic tracks as well as full-blown bangers. ‘BlockBusta’ definitely falls under the latter category.”

Elsewhere on the mixtape, he gets downright menacing on “Devil” before joining forces with Tracy and Yung Bans on the closing anthem “Peaceful World.” Check out the full tracklisting below.

Logging countless hours in a South Florida trap house, Honcho Da Savage became obsessed with hip-hop at a young age. Simultaneously, he studied rock bands like Nirvana and Green Day—gaining a similar grasp on melody. One of 12 children in a blended family, he couldn’t avoid trouble and instead of catching a case for an attempted robbery, he punctured his throat on a fence. Losing his voice in this terrifying mishap, the then 19-year-old taught himself to speak and sing again via YouTube and crooning along to hits from Nickelback, Lifehouse, and “the song that saved his voice” Edwin McCain’s “I’ll Be.” Carving out a place among his home’s growing rap scene, he rose up in the ranks alongside the likes of XXXTentacion, Lil Pump, Smokepurpp, D Savage, Ski Mask The Slump God, and more, racking up hundreds of thousands of Soundcloud plays for tracks like “Stick” [feat. D Savage], “Check,” and “NaNaNa.” Signed to Victor Victor Worldwide, he’s ready to take 2018 by storm. No block is safe.
