How NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® Coffee Boosted My Day
By Amber B
When it comes to coffee and home brewing I have just about tried them all. Yes folks I am a coffee addict. I love everything about coffee; the taste, the aroma, and of course the boost of energy it gives me throughout my day. I prefer ground but have had some instants that weren’t bad at all.
Recently I was challenged to swap out my favorite coffee with NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® for a week. Of course being the coffee lover that I am I accepted open heartily. I said to myself lets see what the buzz is about this NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® instant coffee.
When I received my NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® mission kit in the mail my first thoughts was how cute. The vendor supplied me with a box of NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® 100% Colombian instant single serve packets (16), a clear branded 7 oz glass mug (wish it was two of them, I love sets lol), a branded spoon, 3 recipe cards, a coupon to purchase a NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® coffee of my choice, and some other material to help me jump-start my challenge. I was ready to go. I decided that I would start my challenge the next day.
As my loyal readers know I am a blogger and business woman who works from home. I have my own home office in which I have set up to make my day run efficiently and smooth. This home office includes a Keurig coffee machine so I don’t have to leave my sanctuary for coffee runs (I drink coffee all day). To accept the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® challenge I needed to make sure it would not disrupt my day in any kind of way. So that night I decided to swap out my Keurig coffee maker with my electric tea kettle.
Here is my diary of my NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® challenge:
I started my day looking forward to drinking my cup of NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® coffee. I filled my tea kettle I left on the kitchen counter and headed back to my home office stuck it on the base and waited for my water to heat. While the water was heating I opened up one of the packets of NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® 100% Colombian coffee I was provided and dumped it into my mug. I was nervous and anxious at the same time, would this cup of coffee give me the boost I needed. As soon as the kettle clicked i poured my water, the aroma was in the air. It smelt like it might be a good day after all. I stirred well, added some sugar and creamer, now it was time to take my first sip of my new coffee. After drinking it I was like yuck, it was weak, it wasn’t what I thought it would be. I thought to myself I did something wrong. I decided to add another packet of the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® 100% Colombian coffee to my cup. Here we go again sip number two, not bad, different not what I was use to. It would do, after all it’s new to me I just need to learn how to perfect it.
