“Every artist has a story, we are honored that Tidal and these incredible musicians have given us the opportunity to document their lives and journey to Made in America.” Laura Wasser – Founder, Hyper House
Hyper House will bring fans an in-depth perspective from the artist’s point of view at theMade in America Festival which will once again make its cultural mark in Philadelphia, PA on September 3rd & 4th 2016. In partnership with TIDAL, Hyper Househas been working to create exclusive content for the high fidelity music streaming service giving fans a unique insight into the experience of these young artists who are about to hit the stage. Over this past year,Hyper House camera crews have been capturing moments leading up to their Made in America performances; and will also be documenting their interactions, thoughts, and experiences after each act. The culmination of this in-depth footage will be showcased in three different short films for TIDAL members and to the public in September 2016.
The road for each musician is so different in nature and Hyper Houseis looking to give fans a closer look at these authentic artists as they rise to the top. Hyper House walked the streets with Sir the Baptist in his hometown of Bronzeville in South Side Chicago while he talks about his upbringing in the church, his biggest influences in his growth as an artist, and his live performance on WGN News. In another feature with German artistBibi Bourelly, the Hyper House crew captures her passionately bearing her soul as she strives to continue to pave her own way as an artist/songwriter, penning well-known hits including Rhianna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” and “Higher”; Nick Brewer’s “Talk to Me” and has been featured in tracks with greats such as Lil Wayne and Usher. Bibi takes the crew on a trip to Venice Beach as she reminisces about her experiences performing on the boardwalk which tested her character as an artist ‘would you still sit on the side of the street if everyone walked passed you…would you still do it?’ and ending with a live performance for The Society Sessions at a packed house in music venue House of Guvera.
