  1. If you look at this history of it, both teams have been great at the same time – 60s and 80s, even a big battle in 77.

Being on a collusion course is another repeat of history.

Even though Boston usually got the upper hand doesn't change the fact that they were wars and the old Celtics respected the Sixers.

Dick Stockton "The two most words spoken in sports – Sixers, Celtics game 7"

  2. I hate the nba countdown team. Fire everyone. Beadle is annoying, pierce makes no sense ever, Chauncey needs 2 mics to hear him and jalen is trying to be a personality like Barkley except he ain’t funny no matter how hard he tries.

  3. Both Teams Are Historically A Rivalry And On The Current Trajectory 📊 Of Both Teams There Futures Bright And Will Be Classes Of The East 📈

  5. Fellas, you have to win some to have a rivalry. These 76ers haven’t won. Get rid of this girl. How dare she disrespect Paul Pierce, our Inglewood, CA, home superstar. Then a Hearty laugh? What’s up with her? Is their purpose to bring horny white or black boys to the video? Too disrespectful for me.

  6. You all are not seeing the light. Look at the changes in front of y'all. It's any one's game…
Cavs vs Warriors.. smh. That narrative is changing.
Feel the change in the air and EMBRACE IT…..
You all singing an old song.

For me this year I am not calling a winner. I am watching to see. This year is a underdog year/ major upsets year…
May the team that's HUNGRIER WIN.

  7. As the team is right now, the Sixers can't compete with Boston. The Sixers just don't have the shooters to match up with Gordon Hayward and Kyrie. Tatum should have been the number one pick. Plus Boston has maybe the best coach in the NBA.

The only way I can see Philadelphia beating Boston is if Sixers get LeBron and Paul George. A lineup of LBJ-George-Simmons-Embiid-Redick would allow the Sixers to match up with the Celtics starters. Then, they can bring back Ilyasova and Marco and have Fultz back up.

  8. I'm a Sixers fan but I don't get this whole Rivalry talk with the Celtics… they have owned us historically… 11-4 vs us in Playoffs Series All-Time… how are such lopsided results a true rivalry… they own us and we couldn't even beat them without their 2 best players… and we're going to do it when they return. Unless we get LeBron or somebody, I dont see how this is going to be a rivalry, at least not a competitive one.

  9. No. It’ll just be a beat down. The Celtics without Kyrie and Gordon Hayward are up 3-0. Against a perfectly healthy Sixers.
4-0 series every time unless Sixers change it up and add more talent and experience.

  10. I wouldn't be surprised if Celtics make it to the finals to play the warriors. I can't even see Cavs beating the Celtics right now.

  11. The next great rivalry? What do you mean? Celtics and Sixers rivalry has started since Russell Wilt era, and continued in the 80's (Bird and Dr J)

  12. That's what philly gets for dropping confetti early! Love the promo espn had for philly vs. Cleveland before game 7 of C's vs. Bucks. Thank you clowns at espn. Let's go Celtics!!!

  13. Celtics and Sixers is the next great rivalry.

Warriors and anybody else is a now rivalry

Thank you Pierce for actually listening
