In 2016, actor Jacob Latimore made a well-rounded transition in his music with the arrival of his Connection album, an effective entry that preserved essential elements of R&B while offering up Latimore as a fitting torchbearer for the genre. Now, since taking a hiatus that found the multihyphenate focusing his efforts on his acting career, Jacob has finally returned with his Connection2 album, a long-awaited follow-up after teasing “Come Over Here” and “Mine” featuring Q Money.
