Hailing from Washington, DC, Jordan King, is a singer, rapper, poet, and musician, who’s music just can’t be categorized in one single genre. Since her big move at just 19-years-old to NYC to pursue her music career, she’s been making a quite a name for herself in the music industry, uniquely blending Pop, Hip-Hop, Electronic, Soul, Rock, Jazz, and Funk to create a sound that’s like none other.
Jordan graduated Cum Laude from performing arts school, Five Towns College, and since, has been performing all over NYC with her band, The Hustlers. She has graced the stages of legendary hotspots in NY including SOB’s, Webster Hall, The Apollo Theatre, & The Cotton Club. She has also shared the stage with the likes of Adrian Daniel, Jordan Bratton, Gabi Wilson, and GRAMMY winner, Jon Bellion, and has most recently worked with celebrity bassist and producer, Nate Jones on Bass.
On Halloween of 2015, she released her single, “SCARED”, which Urban Teen Magazine described as “off the charts” and earned a placement on TheTakeovah.com alongside Kendrick Lamar.
In addition to her solo accomplishments, Jordan King also performs as a supporting vocalist with Adrian Daniel & The Stoners, Mo Brown Suga, and The Black Rose Orchestra.
