Jurgen Klopp claims his Liverpool players found it ‘difficult’ to play at Real Madrid ‘s training ground after they fell to a poor 3-1 defeat in the Champions League.
Since the coronavirus outbreak over a year ago, Real Madrid have been playing all their home games at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano while they revamp their Bernabeu home.
Compared to the 81,000 stadium, Madrid’s training ground holds just 6,000 and even though no supporters have been allowed to attend games recently, Klopp claims the atmosphere felt ‘strange’ during the first-leg quarter-final loss.
