Kanye West Slammed By Whitney Houston’s Family Over Bathroom Photo

Kanye West definitely loves giving people the shock treatment and thats that he has done recently along with ruffling some feathers. Kanye recent produced Pusha T’s most recent album which is named Daytona. At the last minute Kanye decided to change the cover art and use a 2006 photo of Whitney Houston’s drug infested bathroom which was released to the National Enquirer by Whitney’s then sister in law, Tina Brown.

The photo is highly offensive and considering Whitney passed away from drowning, in a bathroom and other issues related to drugs, this picture is highly insensitive.

Whitney’s cousin Damon Elliot, who is the son of Dionne Warwick came forward and spoke to People magazine and said that he is very disturbed, he works in the music industry and also worked alongside Kanye West on a song for Keyshia Cole.

He stated that Whitney never did anything to West for her to be treated this way and it is very hurtful to the family and he wants not only an apology but he wants to album cover to be removed.

Kayne paid $85,000 for the rights to use the picture but it is unclear if the money was paid to Tina Brown who initially took the picture and sold it, or if the money was paid to the National Enquirer.
