Multifaceted entertainer Keke Palmer has been cast in STX Film’s upcoming film Hustler‘s, alongside Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Cardi B, Julia Stiles & more. Written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, the film is Inspired by a viral 2016 New York Magazine article, the film follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients. They get their revenge on wealthy, drunk and abusive clients by maxing out their credit cards after they’ve passed out. The film begins shooting on March 22, 2019, in New York City.
Palmer was last seen in the critically acclaimed, Pimp, and is currently starring on Berlin Station (EPIX) and has a recurring role on Star (FOX). Actress, Singer, Dancer, Philanthropist, and Talk Show host are only a few titles the 25-year-old megastar holds. With 15 years in the entertainment business, Keke Palmer’s resume is quite impressive. She began her career with a breakout role in the film “Akeelah and The Bee” and then starred as the title character in the hit cable series “True Jackson, VP,” for which she received four NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children’s Program. She has gone on to star in over 21 feature films and award-winning television shows, most recently the Emmy Award-winning “Grease: Live” and “A Trip to Bountiful,” for which she earned an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special.
