When you look at storytelling in the rap genre, it seems to be somewhat of a lost art, but L.E.V. Junior Knowledge is determined to bring that style of rap back. A smooth, laid-back approach to his raps allows L.E.V Junior Knowledge to effortlessly float on tracks. Allowing the storytelling aspect of his game to really shine.


Knowledge’s story has been anything but normal and easy, from bouncing around as a kid due to his family in the military to losing one of his best friends right before he started his career. When asked about it, he said, “We talked on the phone and he wanted to get the team back together and he talked to me to get back in my music and three days after I got a call, he passed away. This made me push myself harder and pursue music.” Even with his rap career still being in the very early stages, he knows he has to keep things positive and to ignore the naysayers and to trust in himself, and knows God has got his back. Knowledge says, “… but if I could rewind to the beginning the advice I would have told myself: don’t rush and be patient, just work on being consistent.”

Being consistent is key to Knowledge and he is definitely that in the form of always being thankful to God and his family for the endless support. When we asked him what advice he would give to anyone trying to make it in this industry L.E.V. Junior Knowledge said, “Always God first and just believe in yourself and know your worth. As long as you stay focused  and stay on your grind everything will work in your favor.”
