Last week we sat down with Lil Scrappy for an exclusive in-depth “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation, he talked about the changes the city of Atlanta has gone through over the years, jumping off the porch when he was 12, his mother being active in the streets when he was growing up, getting the name Scrappy by having to defend himself, making lyrical rap when he first started, making “Headbussa” when he was just 15 years old, getting into a fight while performing the song, signing with BME, meeting Lil Jon after he signed, says that Lil Jon was more focused on Trillville than him, not getting any help on the double-album with Trillville, getting into an altercation with the police at a concert in Orlando, getting hit in the face with a bottle at one of his shows, everybody turning their back on him while he recovered, 50 Cent reaching out to him, doing a joint-venture with Lil Jon & G-Unit for his debut album ‘Bred 2 Die, Born 2 Live’, not being happy with the way the album was marketed, signing with Disturbing The Peace, explains why he never released an album with them, walking off a Tyler Perry movie set to do the music video for “Helicopter”, not wanting to do ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ at first, discovering Crime Mob, his new single “GA/FL” with Tom G, upcoming album, and much more!
