Maliibu Miitch Talks Staying True to Self, Body Imaging, Credits Foxy Brown & Nicki Minaj + More

Bronx native and Atlantic Records signee Maliibu Miitch is the perfect blend of sassy, sexy, but yet rough around the edges a little bit. She’s slowly but surely making a name for herself with her current street banger, bass-heavy female empowerment anthem, “Give Her Some Money.” She drew interest after remaking some of the 90’s popular female rap hits including Foxy Brown’s “Get You Home” featuring Blackstreet, Lil’ Kim’s “Crush on You,” Eve’s “Who’s That Girl” and Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop.” With the success of today’s artists like Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, Maliibu is ready to make her own Garner her own attention. We sat down with the tiny rising star at ENVSN Festival to talk about what it means to stay true to yourself and not conforming to fit in today’s world of plastic surgery, her love for Foxy Brown and Nicki Minaj abs new music on the way.
