Miami Police Blame French Montana For Shooting At DJ Khaled’s Restaurant

Miami Gardens Police has singled out French Montana for the shooting that occurred at the rapper’s video shoot Thursday, Jan. 5. According to Miami Gardens Police Chief Delma Noel-Pratt, French Montana and his team are to blame for the violence as they allegedly violated the city’s policy by not securing permits to film the music video.

“As a result of this disregard of the procedures, the unauthorized music video production led to an unfortunate situation,” Noel-Pratt said. “If the necessary agencies were notified ahead of time and protocol followed, police officers would have been in place to safeguard the community and assist with deterring and responding, if needed, to any situation that may arise.”
