TNT’s “Snowpiercer” has a huge following and just wrapped with a big Season 1 finale.
The show, based on Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 film of the same name, stars Mickey Sumner as a badass brakeman. Her job is to keep everyone in line on the train. The show is a sci-fi thriller that really plays with the idea of social classes.
Mickey is best known for her breakout role alongside Greta Gerwig in “Frances Ha,” directed by Noah Baumbach. Other credits include “Marriage Story,” “The End of Tour,” and “American Made.” She also inherited her passion for activism from parents Sting and Trudie Styler.
Mickey talked to “Extra” producer Jen Aguillon Weissler about the show’s two-part finale, working with co-star Daveed Diggs, art imitating life right now, and more. Watch!
