Moxie Raia Drops Debut Mixtape “931” Feat. Pusha T, Post Malone, Wyclef Jean [Mixtape]

Moxie Raia

By Jack Barnes

Noisey is excited to debut 931, the highly anticipated, debut mixtape from rising LA-based musician Moxie Raia. The east coast transplant now living in LA has turned heads over the last few months with tracks like “How to Feel” and “Rudimental,” as well as high-profile collaborations with Skrillex, Chance the Rapper, and Vic Mensa. Enjoy this audio stream below after the jump.

Premiering as a part of Noisey’s new Noisey Next series, 931 finds Moxie pairing her raw, emotional lyrics with her own brand of conscious pop, which is inspired by 90s hip-hop and soul and has drawn comparisons to Lauryn Hill and Adele. The mixtape also features appearances from Pusha T, Jimi Tents, Goldlink, Post Malone, Wyclef Jean and many more.

The release of 931 comes as Moxie heads out on a North American Tour with Justin Bieber and Post Malone. Full dates for the tour can be found below.

VICE started Noisey back in 2011, criss-crossing the globe documenting the year in music from heavy-hitters to tiny garage bands who usually play for their girlfriends and moms. Since then, it has grown into one of the most unique and successful video-driven music sites on the planet. In 2012, Noisey teamed with YouTube as a premium content provider, and built out a series of shows that take a completely fresh take on the world of music. As an editorial resource, reaches millions of people a month, and has become a go-to source for weird music news, artist-sourced content, and VICE’s signature offbeat coverage. Noisey throws parties and shows worldwide, hosts innovative online listening parties for new records, and produces videos for the best artists in the world, like MIA, Die Antwoord, A$AP Rocky, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Noisey is more than just a music site—music is the lens with which we explore youth culture all over the world.
