Riding the success of her anthemic single “Mad Out” empowering women to boss up, “Gangster Love” visuals serve Bonnie and Clyde, black love goals -“boss up” together. Moyann has been building a following gradually since her breakout single “Netflixxx n Chill” in 2018 when she signed to Grammy Award-Winning producer and label owner DJ Frass of DJ Frass Records, who has credits on albums by Movado, Alkaline, Morgan Heritage, Shenseea and more. Moyann has since seen much success with singles such as “ABC 123” (2019) and “Boss up” (2019), even collaborating with reggae hit-makers such as Kranium in their duet “I Got You” and dancehall king Teejay in “Bruk Pocket Man” (2020). Presently gracing the cover of Tidal’s “Dancehall’s Massive” playlist featuring “Gangsta Love. This is merely a stepping stone for the 20-year-old soaring artist as she prepares to release her first album and plans her global tour initiation. Moyann is excited to share her music with the world and take her place within reggae royalty.

Moyann Montique professionally known as Moyann is a Jamaican dancehall recording artiste, singer and songwriter. Moyann emerged on the scene with a zeitgeist of a hit ‘Netflixxx and Chill’. The single garnered support from radio stations in the US, Caribbean and the UK who had the song in rotation, including giants of media BBC Radio 1Xtra. The 20 year-old singjay grew up in Jamaica’s second city, Montego Bay and reached out to Grammy winning, Billboard chart-topping, super producer DJ Frass’ in 2017 with her demo tape. That introduction to DJ Frass was segued into inking a recording and booking deal with DJ Frass Records. She released her first song, ‘Netflixxx and Chill’, as part of a riddim project that featured dancehall heavyweights such as Alkaline, a combination between Mavado and Stefflon Don, Kranium and Jahmeil.

DJ Frass (born in Kingston, Jamaica) is a Jamaican record producer and the founder of DJ Frass Records. The multi-talented, internationally acclaimed producer became an overnight sensation with the release of his April 2009 project ‘Clearance Riddim’. DJ Frass was always involved in the music industry; he started his career in the early 2000s being a ‘roadie’ (Road Manager for local musicians) and always had a real passion for music. DJ Frass launched DJ Frass Records in 2009 and went on to become one of the most successful dancehall-producers in Jamaica, recording numerous songs that topped the local and international reggae-charts, from the Billboards in the US to the Reggae Charts in the UK and Europe.
