Grammy nominated R&B singer/songwriter Musiq Soulchild releases the first track off of his forthcoming new project today on eOne Music/SoulStar Music Company. Simple Things, written by Musiq and produced by J. Troy, is about not taking the small things in life for granted. Enjoy this audio stream below after the jump.

Additionally, Musiq Soulchild headlines the Nu Soul Revival Tour, which kicks off tonight in Raleigh, NC and wraps up on April 8 in Jacksonville, FL. Also on the bill are Lyfe Jennings, Kindred The Family Soul and Avery*Sunshine, with other guests in select cities. Full dates below.

Among his many accolades and accomplishments, Musiq Soulchild has had two RIAA certified Platinum albums, two Gold albums and eight hit singles. His awards include honors from Billboard, BET, ASCAP, BMI, and Soul Train. He has also been nominated for several others, including recognition from MTV, the American Music Awards, the NAACP, and 12 Grammy nominations, including one for the single “I Do,” from his 2016 album Life on Earth.
