The family of the black Virginia man killed in police custody saw the surveillance video of the incident that led to his death.
Irvo Otieno’s parents described what they saw on the horrifying 12 min video.
During the intake process at the state mental hospital, Irvo Otieno was handcuffed, shackled, and pinned to the ground by deputies until he suffocated.
So far, ten people have been charged with second-degree murder in Otieno’s death, including Seven Henrico County Sheriff’s deputies and three hospital employees.
