Nessly Conquers His Demons on ‘Standing On Satan’s Chest,’ His New EP [Audio]

Mixing inventive melodies and clever punchlines atop state-of-the-art production, Nessly sounds makes trap music from an alternate dimension. Making the next step in his artistic evolution, Nessly shares Standing On Satan’s Chest, his new EP and the first of three projects he plans for this year. With high-tech beats from the likes of Rex Kudo and Take A DaytripStanding On Satan’s Chest is a new frontier for Nessly’s mutated melodies, as he experiments with new vocal manipulation and delivery techniques without losing his knack for earworms or bars. Though he still lives his life of luxury, a favorite topic of his, Standing On Satan’s Chest finds Nessly venturing inward, challenging his demons and emerging victorious. Standing On Satans Chest is about overcoming adversity, judgement and circumstance,” Nessly says, “I feel a lot of people turned their backs on me, when I tore my ACL and took months to heal. It showed me a lot of true colors and opened my eyes. This is my moment to regain control.”

The new project gives a home to recent singles like Freezing Cold,” which features appearances from Killy and Yung Bans and earned over 590k Spotify streams, the extraterrestrial love song Prairie Fields,” released earlier this month, and the recent Lil Keed and Lil Yacthy co-starring Foreign Sheets,” which received a flossy new music video. With an additional guest appearance from GashiStanding On Satan’s Chest is available to stream and purchase on all platforms.
