Post Malone is a Rockstar (The Documentary) | Mass Appeal

“I like to drink beer, I like to smoke cigarettes… I like bleeding.“ So says Post Malone in the latest digital documentary from the Mass Appeal Collection. Born in Syracuse in 1995 but raised in Grapevine, TX, Austin Richard Post has grown up to become one of the most powerful creative forces in pop culture today—as well as the most misunderstood. Is the artist who came in the game as “White Iverson” a rapper? A rock star? A psycho? None of the above? With his ‘Beerbongs and Bentleys’ album dropping this Friday, what better time to dig deep into the artist’s soul? MASS APPEAL pulled up to the fast food restaurant where he used to work, spoke with teachers, classmates, family members, and Dre London, the manager who’s been rocking with him since his first SoundCloud upload. From Post’s friendship with the late Bankroll Fresh to how he deals with haters, this new doc offers a rare glimpse of a Rockstar on the rise.

  1. Im going to a post concert i August, do you think he will only play songs from his new album "Beerbongs & Bentleys" or will there also be classics from "Stoney"?

  2. Dudes song only consists of 2 – 3 keys. Even coldplay at least used chords.
Y'all are a bunch of cucks who put anything into your orifice and say its a tune.

  3. Terrible fucking audio in the first part of the video. No one wants to listen to live music recorded on a smartphone.

  4. Post makes amazing music and every one of his songs he performs gives me tingles because he’s the poster child for “work hard, play hard.” I always get goosebumps. “I Fall Apart” is just so real. He truly has talent and can play an instrument well. He’s humble and always remembers where he came from. ❤️ keep up the good work Austin.

  5. He has good songs but his live shows are a disgrace. He just sings over the top of his song playing in the background. LAME. Thats not being a rock star.

  6. Post Malone seems like a good guy, but I honestly don't think he makes that great of music. I feel like he could do better. Maybe incorporate more sounds from other genres into his music. There's just something missing from his songs that's keeping them from being spectacular. Also, being at the top of the charts doesn't necessarily make a song great. All it means is that's what most people are listening to the most. And most people have a pretty mediocre taste in music. I don't hate Post Malone. In fact, I actually like his singing voice. It's just his music is too average for me to enjoy. BUT GO AHEAD, ACCUSE ME OF BEING A HATER.

  7. I see all the white/black bs in comments from the simpletons. What they don’t get it is the youth do not draw these Barriers or believe in them anymore . The youth likes what it likes and doesn’t give af about white/black barriers that old ass people consistently try to point out and force on everyone . I’ve noticed in the last five years it’s gotten to a idiotic level . The kids literally use racism as a joke to shock old people .

  8. I think Austin’s happy with 50-60 year life span he’s 22 years old and is iconic in multiple genres and has lived more life than most people dream of, it’s not always about how long. He could be a bad ass that makes great music, has fun and lives the life he’s always wanted for his whole existence, or quit smoking, quit drinking, lose his rhythm and happiness: and be healthier and get an extra 10 years in, that more than likely won’t be worth it. Just my opinion

  9. Real talk what the manager said. He seems like the nicest guy in america haha!! He's contagious.. Best thing is Post reachs out to every type of person/personality… He's like the perfect mix. U R a king posty

  10. that black dude with the white stuff on his chain, i got the same thing on the both of my sides. i waz attacked by a dog and i have had it since. i waz about 8.
