Princess Nokia Announces New Mixtape ‘A Girl Cried Red’ Out This Friday

Princess Nokia aka New York rapper Destiny Frasqueri just announced the release date for her highly anticipated new mixtape A Girl Cried Red via Instagram. The self-described “emo mixtape” will be released this Friday, April 13via Rough Trade Records and follows last year’s critically acclaimed rap opus 1992 Deluxe. Look for her live at Coachella and headline shows in New York, California & more (see dates below).

The shape-shifting emcee has been releasing music via YouTube and Soundcloud since she was in high school and catapulted herself to the next level with 1992 Deluxe selling out venues across the globe and steadily gaining tens of millions of streams. She returns with the brand new collection of songs on A Girl Cried Red, which will undoubtedly cement her place in the alternative underground as well as the hip-hop world.
