Having immersed herself into polyamory over the past year or so, an added element of lushness has arrived in Psalm One’s music. It’s a thread that runs through Psalm One’s P.O.L.Y. Psalm One has has been making noise in the underground rap scene for nearly a decade. Says the Examiner about the seasoned emcee, “At every corner, Psalm One performs good quality rhyme-work over productions that match her dynamic personality.” The new loose single, “Taming the Goddess,” follows the release of her “Plenty of Wins” video, her Rookie Mag-debuted track “Maybe Never,” and the Okayplayer-premiered “Impatient (Just U & Us).” Psalm One recently concluded her DIY Tour, but fans in Chicago can still catch her on upcoming dates at Schuba’s and the Hideout Inn.
