The hard, smooth vocals of Bronx-based rapper Quay Dash cut brashly through the slapping rhythms of her new track, “Wilin'” – the second single off Escape From Nature ‘s upcoming label compilation, Thru Our Eyes – Pt. 1. Enjoy this audio stream below after the jump.

EFN’s new comp will be the fourth release from the burgeoning Brooklyn based label which was founded in 2015 by notable NYC producer and dancehall enthusiast, Orlando Volcano. Orlando teamed up with Celestial Trax to produce and curate this compilation which also features tracks with Dai Burger, Roosevelt and Jay Boogie, who unveiled the new track, “Hear Them Howling” along with a formal announcement of the release last month.

“Working with Celestial Trax and Orlando Volcano on this track was a really chill experience. I got the chance to hang out with two amazing people and spit some dope ass lyrics on a dope ass beat for their EP. When I wrote the lyrics to “Wilin”, which means to appear as a “wild” person, I wasn’t giving a damn about what I said and who’s feelings it may hurt. As a Black transgender woman of a oppression – people tend to be “Wilin” on me everyday with zero fucks – So this track is a big fuck you to Transphobia.” – Quay Dash
