Radamiz – “poweR” (ft. History) [Video]

Radamiz

By Jack Barnes

Radamiz drops the visuals for the record called “poweR” featuring History produced by H. Illa. This track has been one of the standout songs from his 2016-released LP “Writeous“. Enjoy this video stream below after the jump.

The video, which is directed by SwissArmyGuys and Radamiz, explores the theme of New York angst and simple-yet-ferocious energy in this big city. As we explore spaces such as Howard St. in Soho (in-front of my day job Opening Ceremony!), Chinatown and Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn (after our headlining show with Dot Da Genius), we aimed to capture the raw aesthetic of the passionate MC taking back his city.
So often, especially in darker times, it shows again and again that the people seem to feel hopeless and invisible. This video is about visibility and overcoming any perceived obstacles. The lyrics themselves speak to overcoming drug dealing friends, evident violence since a young age, poverty, homelessness, and the overall dark cloud that seems to follow us. This video is about winning. The Lo-fi, dusty, alive, presence, tenacious New York.
