Getmybuzzup: Tell us a little about yourself?

C.R.E.: I started doing music at 7. Feel in love with the melody of Rhythm and knew I was destined or music. Southern roots will Hawaii ties Life and music has set me on track to be herd by the world.

Getmybuzzup: How long have you been in the music industry?

C.R.E.: I’m fairly new in the industry. Yet I’ve been seasoned in my Craft for some time an awaited that step to be herd.

Getmybuzzup: How did you get started in the first place?

C.R.E.: Love for poetry words and making people smile. Singing in church choirs and being from a musical family there was no way I would be left out.

Getmybuzzup: How did you come up with the name C.R.E. (“Creative Refined Excellence”)?

C.R.E.: My name describes My Journey as an artist. I’ve always been Creative I took the time to refine it and embraced my excellence.

Getmybuzzup: Describe what it’s like growing up in a musical household?

C.R.E.: Hardcore Rap and R&B different Old school and new school as well. Stuck to my roots.

Getmybuzzup: How would you describe your latest single “Intro”?

C.R.E.: It’s my “Dreams and nightmares” my coming out to the party to let everyone know hello word I’m C.R.E and I’m here.

Getmybuzzup: Who are your inspirations in the music industry?
C.R.E.: Artists like Snoop Dogg and Boosie. For Longevity and for the ability to be real at all times through a career. Touch and raise fan on your music.

C.R.E.: I’ve been doing music for a long time. Gave a lot of energy time and creativity to people who didn’t deserve it. That why I titled the album “This 4 Me F#ck Y’all”.

Getmybuzzup: Any plans on touring to promote your latest single?
C.R.E.: Once the COVID lets up I plan to run to every state. So I can tap in can Bring some C.R.E to the equation.

Getmybuzzup: What did you buy with your first check off music?
C.R.E.: I’ll let you know when it comes in the mail.

Getmybuzzup: What are must-haves when you are in the studio working?
C.R.E.: Gas, good energy, chewy candy for 6hr sessions and don’t let me forget GAS.

Getmybuzzup: What is the best piece of advice in this business you actually followed?
C.R.E.: When it’s genuine people will gravitate to what your doing. People are watching even when you don’t think so.

Getmybuzzup: Will you be collaborating with any other artists in the future?
C.R.E.: I hope to. That’s one of my main goals to cross-brand and reach bigger platforms.

Getmybuzzup: What artist have you had the pleasure of producing for?
C.R.E.: No mainstream artist yet.

Getmybuzzup: Name artist that you would like to work with production-wise?
C.R.E.: Hitmaka. I have seen him take his sound Revolutionize it and present it to the world in a way no one can deny.

Getmybuzzup: Do you think your music is mostly enjoyed more for the beats or for the lyrical flow and content?
C.R.E.: Definitely my lyrical content my ram schemes and the pace that I keep up throughout an entire track.

Getmybuzzup: What area do you need to improve on in regards to your career? (Example: Better production, Delivery, Stage presence, etc..)
C.R.E.: Taking advantage of every opportunity and coming into the light. Own my success I’ve worked hard to get here. And its time to show the world.

Getmybuzzup: What’s your all-time favorite song?
C.R.E.: Too many. To pick one “Nate Dogg- Me and my Homies.”

Getmybuzzup: What was the last album you listened to?
C.R.E.: Kevin Gates “I’m Him”.

Getmybuzzup: Your favorite artist of all time and why?
C.R.E.: Tupac, he was the Light to the dark that will forever shine.

Getmybuzzup: Who’s your fav five artists right now?
C.R.E.: J. Cole, Boosie, Kevin Gates, No Cap, Da Baby.

Getmybuzzup: In your opinion who is the most influential and successful artist in your genre today and why?
C.R.E.: Drake. He has been consistent.

Getmybuzzup: Who have been some of your favorite artists that you’ve been able to work with?
C.R.E.: None mainstream yet. But I pray for a track with Chris Brown when God Alines the stars.

Getmybuzzup: How do you feel about the current state of music?
C.R.E.: I love music and the evolution in sound and that’s why I want to play and to leave my mark on it.

Getmybuzzup: Any dream award shows you hope to one day play at?
C.R.E.: Grammys of course would be the ultimate goal and dream.

Getmybuzzup: What is your main goal as far as music?
C.R.E.: To be herd as always been my Goal now to be herd by the World.

Getmybuzzup: Who would you say your music relates to the most?
C.R.E.: People who have seen struggles in life. Overcame adversity and became better in the process.

Getmybuzzup: What separates you from other artists? (What’s makes you different?)
C.R.E.: My energy that transfer to others around me positively. The ethic to get better each day is my life focus.

Getmybuzzup: When you’re not in the studio, What do you like to do for fun and relaxation?
C.R.E.: Spend time with my family. They are the reason I go so hard.

Getmybuzzup: If you could work with any producer who would it be?
C.R.E.: Timberland. His sound has been so unique and inspiring for years. His legacy has touched many artists worldwide.

Getmybuzzup: What’s the biggest highlight of your career thus far?
C.R.E.: Performing at the Beacon Theatre in Virginia. I was the first urban artist to perform in the venue.

Getmybuzzup: What is your dream venue to perform at?
C.R.E.: Staples Center. RIP Kobe&GIGI

Getmybuzzup: What artist music are you currently a fan of?
C.R.E.: A lot of artists. NoCap is one of the Artist I feel and understand the pain behind his delivery.

Getmybuzzup: When performing live what are some of the things you do to get the crowd involved?
C.R.E.: Participation is key an attention is the most beautiful thing an artist can have. Throw Merch to the crowd and give all your energy. Make fans feel you and your music are electric.

Getmybuzzup: When performing live and the crowd is singing along how does that energy make you feel?
C.R.E.: Like I answered there is no other feelings than the feeling that you have the full attention of a crowd and they Rock with you. It’s addictive and Beautiful.

Getmybuzzup: What’s the name of the last book you read and by whom?
C.R.E.: Recording for Dummies. I was focused on finding my sound early in my career. That book helped me navigate how I want to be heard and presented til this day.

Getmybuzzup: What’s your favorite sports team and why?
C.R.E.: Red Skins even thoughts change our name. Because of Doug Williams. The first African American Quarterback to Win a Super Bowl.

Getmybuzzup: Who’s your favorite actor or actress and their best movie?
C.R.E.: Will Smith, Too many to name my Favorite, not his best “Hitch”.

Getmybuzzup: Name someone famous who inspires you and why?
C.R.E.: Berner. Hands down one of the wisest motivated and trend-setting Entrepreneurs and artists in the Game period. #🍪💪🏾💯

C.R.E.: More music Visuals and Branding on the way. Keep your eyes open for me.
