RIHANNA’S “ANTI” RETURNS TO #1

Westbury Road/Roc Nation/UMG global superstar Rihanna’s new album ANTI (released January 28th) returns to the top of the charts this week as the #1 album on Billboard’s 200 Album charts. The album’s lead single “Work” (featuring Drake) remains the #1 song in the country for the 5th week in a row, topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart for another week. “Work” is currently also #1 on Billboard’s Urban and Rhythm charts. The track’s initial debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earned Rihanna her fourteenth #1 single, making chart history with the third-most #1 Billboard Hot 100 hits since Billboard’s launch of the chart.
Rihanna is currently touring North America on her 41-city ANTI WORLD TOUR which kicked off March 12th in Jacksonville, FL. Samsung is the presenting partner on the North American leg of the tour, while PUMA is a supporting partner. Travis Scott will be the special guest on North American dates. The European leg of the tour will then follow with dates set up in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Vienna and more. The Weeknd and Big Sean will be featured as special guests on all European dates. ANTI, Rihanna’s eighth studio album, is the long-awaited follow-up to her RIAA platinum, Grammy Award®-winning Unapologetic (November 2012), her first album to debut at #1 Soundscan which also, spun off a slate of major hits, including the RIAA 5x-platinum “Diamonds,” 6x-platinum “Stay” (featuring Mikky Ekko), and double-platinum “Pour It Up,” plus the RIAA gold “Loveeeeeee Song,” “Right Now” (featuring David Guetta), and “What Now.”
