Rockie Fresh Connects with Casey Veggies and 24hrs for the “Feelings Hurt”

With an effortlessly melodic flow and a refreshingly chill outlook on life, Rockie Fresh has mastered the daily grind. Kicking back in a hotel room with two close friends, Rockie shares “Feelings Hurt,” his new music video. A breezy party jam with an entrancing flute loop courtesy of producers Mathaius Young & My Best Friend Jacob, “Feelings Hurt” expresses Rockie’s desire to be a little bit selfish–everyone needs to stop and enjoy the fruits of their labor once in a while: “And we been doin’ all these favors, so many favors I’m all out of favors, go get some paper” rhymes Rockie in his signature lilt. In the video, Rockie takes advantage of a booty call, blowing off his girl’s request for alone time and instead hosting a massive party, with guests like Casey Veggies and 24hrs. A Chicago native who ran counter to his city’s drill movement during his rise in the early 2010s, Rockie Fresh built a loyal and devoted fanbase with a consistent output of mixtapes, including Fresh Veggies, his popular collaborations with Casey Veggies. The rapper drew the attention of Rick Ross, who signed him to his ascendant Maybach Music Group. After several years under Ross’s wing, Rockie ventured out on his own in 2018, when he signed a multi-record deal with Rostrum Records.
