Getmybuzzup: Tell us a little about yourself?
Rugga MH: My name is Rugga MH. I’m from Brooklyn, NY. I released my first single Ping Pong on January 1st, 2021 with the follow-up song Walk Em Down which released on February 5th, 2021 both streaming on all platforms right now.
Getmybuzzup: How did you come up with the name Rugga MH?
Rugga MH: ( Laughs ) I get asked this often. It’s funny though, I did time for something a while back and when I came home my friend at the time gave me the name Rugga. I didn’t realize how often that name was used as an artist name so I added “MH” for business purposes put it together it’s Rugga MH.
Getmybuzzup: How long have you been in the music industry?
Rugga MH: I’m actually not in the music industry as of yet. My team and I decided to do the indie thing for now. but everybody needs that big machine behind them I think.
Getmybuzzup: How did you get started in the first place?
Rugga MH: I always loved rapping as a kid so it was always in me.
Getmybuzzup: How would you describe your latest single “Walk Em Down”?
Rugga MH: It showcases me in a different light. A couple of months ago I wanted to give up doing music because of lack of support but I got my mojo back and you’ll be able to tell just that with this single.
Getmybuzzup: Any plans on shooting a music video for your forthcoming single?
Rugga MH: Nothings planned anymore I just do it.

Getmybuzzup: How difficult was it with COVID restrictions to promote your previous single “Ping Pong”?
Rugga MH: For the most part it was difficult you know? Because here i am trying to stand out as an upcoming artist with a hit single that’s streaming crazy on Spotify and catching the ears like Dj Drewski and The New Mvmt Team from Hot 97 but I can’t go out and promote it as much as I want and it sucks.
