Bio:

The Rxnaways is a rap music group based out of St. Louis, MO. With a sound similar to Kanye West, Rae Sremmurd, Travis Scott & Big Sean, etc. They have come together to create viable and wild music using a mixture of Rap, Rock, and Pop to bring energy and message that influences individuals to Go Wild, believe in themselves, “Break the Chains” and live without limitations

Getmybuzzup: Tell us how the group came about?

The Rxnaways: Well we (DoDi) (BwXnda) use to be solo artists. We both had our own fan base in our own county of St.Louis. We linked up one family reunion & the rest was history. We realized what they failed to fathom. And used it to our advantage.

Getmybuzzup: Congrats on signing your new label deal! How long have you been in the music industry?
The Rxnaways: Thank you, we appreciate the support, We both been creating music for over 10 years. Which means a lot coming from a city where music artist are frowned upon. It took us a lot of self-confidence to pursue music here And a lot of Self-belief here to get us how far we came.

 

Getmybuzzup: What’s your latest single “Famous Lowlife” about?

The Rxnaways: Famous Lowlife is our way of smiling in all the naysayer’s face who never believed in us or our talent or who never believed it even was a different way of life. People literally thought we were Low Lifes for pursuing music instead of pursuing a Trade. An entire lifetime in one job just didn’t make sense to us, not on our own terms. So famous Lowlifes was just kind of a laugh for us.

 

Getmybuzzup: Any plans on touring to promote the single?
The Rxnaways: Yes, we are going to Atlanta really soon for heavy promotions, & Then down the line we have Tour in the UK coming soon. So look out for us we making big moves.

 

Getmybuzzup: What is the concept behind your forthcoming project?
The Rxnaways: Freedom, We want people to know no matter what opinions other people tell them they are free to live their life the way that they want. We strongly believe in Freedom and creating your own story. Even if you’re a Circle amongst squares.

 

Getmybuzzup: What are must-haves when you’re in the studio working?
The Rxnaways: Hella water, Loud pack, Drinks, and just positive creative energy, The quickest way to get kicked out of a Rxnaway studio session is Negative, Hater Broke energy. So we keep it really uplifting.

 

Getmybuzzup: What is the best piece of advice in this business you actually followed?
The Rxnaways: One day we met a certified Legend in the game & he told us to Never change & And to Never stop grinding even when we make it. And to fall in love with the Grind not the Money. And that most people who hate on you or don’t believe in your vision or dream are most likely too broke to realize that they Love you. Because once you make it to a certain point you realize that anything is possible. And never let them at your shows if they weren’t at rehearsals.

 

Getmybuzzup: Do you think your music is mostly enjoyed more for the beats or for the musical flow and content?
The Rxnaways: We the full package, You heard us!

 

Getmybuzzup: Who have been some of your favorite artists that you’ve been able to work with?
The Rxnaways: Each other!

 

Getmybuzzup: What is your main goal as far as music?
The Rxnaways: We are here to change the world, nothing less.

 

Getmybuzzup: Who would you say your music relates to the most?
The Rxnaways: Our music is for anyone who’s free, has a dream, and who believes in themselves. And for the people who are not sure because they have been taught to live a certain way but deep inside know that that’s not it. We want to give them the courage to go far it and jump.

 

Getmybuzzup: What’s the name of the last book you read and by whom?
The Rxnaways: For the both of us, Outwitting the Devil, & untethered souls. we really recommend anyone who hasn’t read it to read them.

 

Getmybuzzup: What can we expect from you in the future?
The Rxnaways: You can expect more great music and more encouragement to live your life. More reasons to Rxnaway.
